Best 3D Architectural Rendering Companies for US Home Builders and Developers (2026)
For US home builders who need many exterior views at a posted price, ArchiCGI and Rapid Renders are the easiest to budget, because both publish per-view starting rates. Render Vision and xRender Studio suit developers who want a managed team and a defined schedule. Ratio Visuals fits large, high-rise or master-planned projects where one studio keeps the whole set consistent.
Ratio Visuals is our own studio. It is in the list with its limits, and in several places below another company is the better choice.
What is a 3D architectural rendering company?
It is a studio or service that turns plans and elevations into photoreal images, animations and tours of a building that does not exist yet. Developers use the images to pre-sell units and win approvals. Builders use them to help buyers choose a plan. The companies below fall into three groups: fixed-rate production studios, managed studios that quote each project, and marketplaces that match you with a freelancer.
Best 3D architectural rendering companies compared
Prices and terms were checked on each company's own site on 28 October 2026. Where a figure is not published, we say so. Where a company shows different numbers on different pages, we note it.

How we picked
We looked for companies a US builder or developer could contact today and checked each one's own pages for prices, turnaround, revision rules and location. We dropped any fact we could not find there. One company we considered, Rayvat, is a general business-services provider with no rendering page, so it is not listed. Nobody paid for a spot.
Company notes
ArchiCGI
According to ArchiCGI's homepage, residential exteriors start at $300 per view, commercial and aerial views at $600, and small residential interiors at $150. From 10 homes a month, the rate is $215 per home. The company says standard stills arrive within 48 hours of prepayment and a complete brief, with two review rounds included and extra rounds billed hourly. It lists a San Francisco address and says it has worked since 2011. Treat the rates as starting points, since the final cost depends on the project and the full price list sits behind a name-and-email form.
Rapid Renders
The Rapid Renders pricing page lists a house or duplex exterior at $300 to $500 and townhouses or condos at $500 to $1,000. A single interior room is $350 to $400. Five revision rounds are included, and volume discounts begin above 10 images. The homepage lists Sri Lanka operations and a US registered office in Torrance, California. Its pages disagree on rush terms and on whether a single image takes days or about a week, so confirm the schedule in writing.
Render Vision
Render Vision is headquartered in Germany and says it has operated since 2012 across 15 countries, including the United States. It does not publish prices. It says it quotes within 24 hours, starts the next business day, shows first colour previews in 3 to 7 days, and delivers from day 12. Two revision rounds are included. That predictable process is useful for a launch date, but expect to ask for a number.
xRender Studio
xRender Studio lists an office in West Palm Beach, Florida, and one in New York by appointment. Its process runs about a week each for clay previews, colour drafts and finals, plus four days for delivery. A 48 to 72 hour rush is available for an extra fee that is not published. Prices are quoted after scoping, with 50 percent due upfront. The page states its revision rounds in two different ways, so ask which applies.
Cad Crowd
Cad Crowd is a marketplace that pairs you with a vetted freelance designer and offers a free quote. Its service page does not publish rates, but a Cad Crowd guide says a small room takes 2 to 3 days and a house 5 to 8 days, and puts per-image work at up to $500, $500 to $3,000, or $3,000 and above. It is flexible for a single job, but you do not get one studio team across a whole development.
Neoscape
Neoscape is a branding and marketing agency with offices in Boston, New York and Chicago, and says it has worked for over 30 years. Visualization covers renderings, film, animation, digital twins and VR. Its client logos include Hines, Related, Tishman Speyer and Brookfield. No prices or timelines are published. It suits a large campaign, not a single builder who needs a few views.
Ratio Visuals
Our exterior rendering, interior and landscape and pool work is quoted per project. We do not publish prices. You send drawings and we reply within one business day with a shot list, a timeline and a proposal. A single exterior still typically takes a few business days after brief approval, and a full pre-launch set a few weeks. The package covers an agreed shot list, the quoted review rounds, final files and marketing usage rights. Our work focuses on high-rise and large-scale projects, so a builder who needs ten cheap exterior views a month is better served by ArchiCGI or Rapid Renders.
How to choose
- Many single-family exteriors on a budget: ArchiCGI or Rapid Renders. Both post starting rates you can multiply by your frame count.
- A fixed launch date and a managed process: Render Vision or xRender Studio. Ask for the quote and the schedule in writing.
- A one-off job: Cad Crowd, if you are happy to manage one freelancer.
- A tower, condo or master plan with stills, aerials and film: Ratio Visuals or Neoscape, depending on whether you want a visualization studio or a wider marketing agency.
Whoever you pick, compare quotes on scope, not on the headline rate. Check the number of views, the revision rounds, the output size and what usage rights are included. Our guide on how to choose a rendering studio covers the portfolio checks.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a 3D architectural rendering cost in the US?
It depends on the studio and the scope. Published starting prices in October 2026 include $300 for a residential exterior at ArchiCGI and $300 to $500 for a house at Rapid Renders. Cad Crowd describes mid-range work as $500 to $3,000 per image. Studios like Ratio Visuals quote each project from drawings.
How fast can a studio deliver a single exterior render?
Published figures vary. ArchiCGI states 48 hours from prepayment and a complete brief for standard stills, and up to a week for large projects. Rapid Renders lists 2 to 4 days for a house exterior. Render Vision shows first colour previews in 3 to 7 days and final delivery from day 12.
Is a marketplace or a studio better for a home builder?
A marketplace such as Cad Crowd matches you with a freelance designer and gives a free quote, which suits one-off jobs. A studio keeps one team on the whole set, which helps when a development needs consistent light and materials across exteriors, interiors and aerials. Ask each for a written scope either way.
What should I send a rendering studio to get an accurate quote?
Send floor plans, elevations, any 3D or CAD files you have, and a material and finish reference. A site photo or location helps the studio match context. ArchiCGI and Ratio Visuals both ask for drawings first. Say how many views you need, because frame count drives the price more than anything else.
How many revision rounds should a rendering order include?
It varies by vendor. ArchiCGI and Render Vision each include two rounds, and ArchiCGI charges $40 an hour after that. Rapid Renders states five rounds on every project. Ratio Visuals quotes review rounds per project and agrees them in writing before work starts. Always get the round count and its limits in writing.
If you are weighing a project, see our rendering for developers page or send us your drawings for a shot list and proposal.
