How much does
rendering cost?

Most 3D architectural renders are priced per image or per project. A single exterior still typically runs from a few hundred to a few thousand US dollars depending on complexity; animations are quoted by length. At Ratio, every project is a fixed quote agreed up front with revisions included.

01 / Pricing models

Per-image, per-project, or hourly

Most studios price per finished image (per view), per-project as a bundle (usually a better per-image rate), or hourly for complex, evolving scopes.

For a defined set of shots, a per-project package is almost always the best value.

02 / What drives the price

Complexity, views, detail

Building size and type, the number of camera angles, the level of detail and styling, whether you need day/dusk/night variants, and the revision rounds all move the price.

A clean hero still is far less than a fully furnished interior set or an animation.

03 / Ranges

What to expect

As a rough guide, exterior stills often sit around $800–$2,500 per view, interiors $600–$1,500, aerials $1,000–$3,000, and 3D floor plans $300–$800. Animations are quoted by length and shot count.
