Ridge
House

A mountain home where stone, timber and fireglow had to feel warm against a cold blue dusk — told as one complete set.

Overview

Warmth you can feel through the screen.

A private mountain retreat. We captured the cosy-against-the-cold mood across the blue-hour exterior, the great room's fire, the rooms within, and a material detail — every frame the same home.

01 — The home by day, stacked stone and charred timber against the snow.
01 / The brief

Make the cold feel cosy

The whole appeal was refuge — glass glowing warm against a blue-cold mountain dusk. The renders had to make you want to be inside, by the fire.

02 — The cantilevered deck at dusk, fire lit, snowy forest beyond.
02 / The approach

One home, warm against the cold

We anchored on the blue-hour exterior, then carried the same stone, charred timber and blackened steel inside — the great room's fire, the bedroom at dawn, down to a material detail.

03 — The great room, fire roaring, glass to the snowy pines.
04 & 05 — The primary suite at dawn, and a material detail: stone, char-grain timber, steel.
The render made you want to be inside, by the fire.
03 / The result

A complete, cohesive set

Six frames that feel like one photo shoot of a finished home — every surface unmistakably the same house.
